Carla joined Portal in 2009, initially employed part-time within the telephone sales team. Promotions have led to her current role as Account Team Manager, overseeing the Account Management and New Business Telephone sales teams.
Since joining the company Carla has gained high level technical knowledge, across the full Portal product range. This coupled with her previous experience and understanding of commercial objectives, has led to her continued success working with blue chip companies, providing full telephony and network solutions nationwide, particularly within the education, health and legal sectors.
Carla also manages the New Business Telephone Sales and Account Management teams, who from their initial contact aim to build long term relationships with new and existing customers, adopting Portals transparent, consultative, quality approach.
Prior to Portal, Carla has over 25 years’ experience within the Sales and Account Management fields: Initially with Archant newspapers, followed by periods with both regional and national recruitment agencies and lastly running own start up Fashion Show business. During this time Carla has been involved in delivering highly effective multi media advertising campaigns, multi-site staffing solutions, resolution management, trouble shooting, team sales training and key account strategic planning, implementation and on-going management.
