Portal Voice and Data Ltd are looking for a Services Administrator Apprentice (Level 3). You'll act as the first point of contact offering advice and help to customers and suppliers, whilst dealing with a variety of administrative tasks. You'll work alongside our Account/Sales and Technical Teams to give you a holistic view of the company. You will be working 37.5 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities to include:
Answering calls from customers and suppliers.
Managing emails and correspondence.
Raising Tickets and Tasks on Portal Database to progress a customer query.
Ordering equipment from suppliers.
Booking in engineering resources.
Raising documentation for engineers and/or suppliers.
Sending out equipment to customers and/or chasing return of equipment.
Reporting out customer Line Faults.
Booking Hotels and courses.
The job will involve the use of a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel.
You will also undertake additional training to become a member of our telephone based 24/7 On Call Team for fault reporting on a rota basis, approx. 1 week in 5.
The above responsibilities will also involve following internal processes accurately and keeping the Database up to date.
You will be provided with basic knowledge of the products and applications we support to enable you to fulfil our obligations to our large customer base. The initial on the job training takes three months. Over a two year period training and development across all products up to and including entry level project management. Career development to other departments within the organisation can be achieved.
You will a need friendly telephone manner and excellent accuracy in record keeping. Once trained you will, with support, have decision making authority and so good judgement and prioritisation skills are required.
